As a large buffer manufacturer, Merck offers a wide range of organic and inorganic buffers and buffer salts, specifically tested for use in downstream purification.

Protect your protein

Recent additions to the range include buffer salts such as phosphates, acetates or citrates in the quality grade EMPROVE® bio. Manufacturing processes have been optimized by minimizing microbiological contamination and endotoxin concentrations – enzymatic activities of DNases, RNases and proteases are not detectable. This is what makes these buffers particularly suitable for biochromatography. Your protein is so valuable that it should not be put at risk so shortly before the end of manufacture.
